Hi welcome back today I will tell you about when the crickets got out so lets get started. So the date was Thursday December 5th 2019 and my friend Paul was the gecko keeper. The gecko keeper is 1 of our classroom jobs and him\her takes care of our classroom pet Bamboo a leopard gecko so the crickets were too close to the edge of the table and the can tipped over. A second later … THE CRICKETS ESCAPED!!! 🙁.THEY WERE EVERYWHERE!!!And Vera, Paul, Piper, Brady, Katherine, Mrs Eaves, Justin, Sophie, and a few other people. Me and Lando were just watching the whole mess unfold before our eyes 👀.
Lando said “So what do you want to do.?”
“Watch.” I said.
So about 5 minutes later all the crickets were back in except 2. One Katherine caught. And the second. “Ready?” Went up Pipers sleeve. I said ants in your pants she said crickets up your sleeve.
Wow. You can be suprised by a lot including this.
So are you suprised? My sisters were. Really suprised. They were screaming. What? Yes the holidays are over why did you ask? Really? Ohhh. I see. Do you? Obviously yes. What did you think!?
My mom said we could go down the hill one more time. So my sisters went first. Maddie went down and almost tipped over and then did a circle. Abby went down, hit a GIANT jump and went 2 and a half feet into the air and landed 20 feet away went 10 more yards. Then her sled tipped over and she did a sideways somersault and gave me a thumbs up 👍🏻. Then I went down the hill hit the same bump as Abby and went just as far but I was going twice as fast and I went at least 3 feet into the air. And that was My Last Run On My Sled At Dearborn Park In 2019.
