You captured some important information about Aesop and fables. I don’t think there is anyway of knowing the answer to your question for sure. He as a slave and birthdays and dates were not recorded for them. We may be able to find out a general answer by knowing the typical life expectancy at the time. I don’t know it. I’ll have to do some research.
